Dashboard Guide
Learn how to navigate and use your Vixvvo dashboard effectively
Dashboard Overview
The Vixvvo dashboard is your central hub for managing your 3D printing business. It provides real-time insights into your orders, revenue, costs, and overall profitability — all on a single page. The dashboard is organized into distinct sections: stat cards at the top, charts and a revenue target in the middle, quick actions, and recent orders and top filaments at the bottom.
Stat Cards
The top row of the dashboard displays five key business metrics. Each card has an info icon you can hover over for a description.
Five Metric Cards
- •Orders: Total number of completed (paid) orders in the selected time period.
- •Gross Sales: Total revenue from completed orders before any costs or fees are deducted.
- •COGS: Cost of Goods Sold — the total cost of filament, supplies, and electricity consumed by completed orders. Hover over the card to see a breakdown of filament vs. supply costs.
- •Platform Fees: Marketplace fees charged by platforms like Etsy — including transaction, listing, payment processing, offsite ads, and shipping label fees. Hover over the card to see the full fee breakdown.
- •Net Income: Your actual take-home profit: Gross Sales minus COGS and Platform Fees. Displayed in green when positive, red when negative.
Tip: Stat cards only count paid/completed orders. Shipping revenue is treated as a pass-through and is excluded from Net Income calculations to give you an accurate profit picture.
Stat Card Time Filter
Above the stat cards there is a dropdown to control the time period for all five metrics. This filter is separate from the chart time period, so you can analyze stats and charts independently.
Available Periods
- • This Month: Current calendar month (default)
- • Last 7 days: Rolling 7-day window
- • Last 30 days: Rolling 30-day window
- • Last 90 days: Rolling 90-day window
- • Last 1 year: Rolling 365-day window
- • All time: All orders since your account was created
- • Custom range: Pick any start and end date with a date picker
Revenue Chart
The Revenue chart is an interactive area chart that visualizes your revenue over time. It sits in the left portion of the second row.
Chart Features
- •Smooth area chart with daily data points for short periods (7D, 1M) and monthly data points for longer periods (6M, 1Y)
- •Hover over any point to see the exact date and revenue amount in a tooltip
- •All amounts automatically display in your selected currency
- •Below the chart, you see the current month's revenue total and the change compared to the previous month
Chart Time Periods
- • Past 7 days: Daily buckets for the last week
- • Past 1 month: Daily buckets for the last 30 days
- • Past 6 months: Monthly buckets for the last 6 calendar months
- • Past 1 year: Monthly buckets for the last 12 calendar months
- • Custom: Pick any start and end date (requires Scaling tier or above)
Monthly Revenue Target
The Revenue Target card sits to the right of the revenue chart. It lets you set a monthly net income goal and tracks your progress toward it throughout the month.
Target Features
- •Circular Progress: A visual ring showing your current percentage toward your monthly target
- •Target Amount: The monthly net income goal you've set
- •Remaining: How much more net income you need to reach your goal
- •Projected (EOM): An estimate of where you'll end up by the end of the month, based on your average daily net income so far
- •Progress Bar: Shows your current net income and days remaining in the month
Setting Your Target: Click the "Edit" button on the target card. Enter your desired monthly goal in your current currency — Vixvvo automatically converts it to USD for storage and back to your display currency. The target resets progress at the start of each calendar month.
Note: The revenue target tracks net income (Gross Sales − COGS − Platform Fees), not gross sales. This gives you a true picture of your take-home earnings progress.

Below the charts, a Quick Actions bar provides one-click access to the most common tasks:

Top Filaments
The Top Filaments widget on the right side of the bottom row shows your five most-used filaments based on completed orders.
What You'll See
- •Each filament is ranked 1–5 with its color swatch, name, brand, and type
- •Usage is displayed in grams (or kilograms for amounts over 1,000g) and as a percentage of total usage
- •A color-coded bar shows the proportional usage across all top filaments
- •A summary line shows total filament consumed and how many completed orders contributed
Orders Over Time Chart
At the very bottom of the dashboard, a full-width area chart shows the number of orders created over time. It uses the same time period as the Revenue chart above.
Chart Details
- •Counts all orders (not just paid ones) to show overall order volume
- •Hover on any data point to see the full date and exact order count
- •Below the chart, a summary shows the total orders and your overall order count

Independent Filters: The stat card time filter and chart time period are independent — you can view "This Month" stats while looking at a 1-year revenue chart.
Revenue Target: Set a realistic monthly target and check your projected end-of-month earnings — Vixvvo estimates it based on your average daily net income.
